Lehigh Maritime Corporation provides a wide range of fully mobile and on-site construction and repair support services to the commercial maritime industry in New York Harbor. We are based on Brooklyn’s working waterfront, with a full-service fabrication shop in Red Hook. Our skilled crews are ready to respond quickly to your emergency jobs or unplanned work, as well as scheduled repairs, maintenance, inspection and surveys.  Our specialties include: 

• In-water repairs to damaged or deteriorated vessel plating and structural members

• Construction and repair of pier, dock and fendering infrastructure

• Marine engineering systems design, installation and repair

• Installation, repair or extraction of steel and timber piles

• Welding, fabrication and general metal work

• Material handling, mobilization and transport of equipment and supplies

Lehigh Maritime Corporation’s physical assets include: 

• Three active work vessels, with capabilities including a 35 ton crane, floating metalworking shop, and side-scan sonar mapping. 

• Landside metals fabrication shop, outfitted with welding equipment, cutting and fitting tools, cranes, forklifts and other equipment.

• A floating drydock with 42’ x 100’ on deck space and 650LT vessel lift capacity, expected to be fully refit and placed into service for mid-sized vessel repair during the second half of 2025. 

Lehigh is staffed by talented professionals, with experience in engineering, maritime operations, navigation, maritime structure design and maintenance, welding, fabrication, mechanical and electrical systems, marine propulsion, towing and crane operations.
